The pocket-sized Simco-Ion Model 775 Fieldmeter is designed to locate and measure static charge potentials on products, people, equipment and packaging. The 775 uses a non-contacting, chopper stabilized field sensor and a ranging light mechanism to ensure 
correct measurements of electrostatic fields in all areas-even those using air ionization. The fieldmeter is easily zeroed with the turn of a small knob and does not require re-zeroing between measurements. Powered by a 9V battery, the 775 features a conductive, impact resistant case and a convenient snap-on ground lead, to facilitate grounding and increase accuracy.

Used to detect and evaluate electrostatic field conditions on surfaces without contact, supporting static assessments, ESD (electrostatic discharge) risk evaluation, and ESA (electrostatic attraction) troubleshooting across manufacturing and industrial environments.

Static charge assessment on surfaces: identifies the presence, polarity, and relative magnitude of electrostatic fields on products, packaging, materials, equipment, and work surfaces.

ESD risk evaluation: helps assess electrostatic conditions that may contribute to electrostatic discharge risk during handling, assembly, inspection, or packaging of sensitive devices.
