The Original PCS Muon Trap, Mounted Under the Bench
The PCS Muon Trap Under-Bench Mount puts the capture hood at the work surface and moves the blower and HEPA filter underneath, keeping the bench top clear. Particles blown off a part with an ionizing air gun are drawn into the hood at high face velocity and trapped in the HEPA filter, with clean air returned to the room. The patented hood design is what separates it from passive particle traps: without enough face velocity at the hood, particles simply escape.
