5842 Overhead Blower

Simco-Ion Model 5842 Enhanced Overhead Blower is a critical-environment, multi-fan overhead ionizing blower designed for cleanroom and controlled manufacturing areas where low offset voltage and consistent performance are required. Built on Steady-state DC technology, the 5842 delivers fast static charge neutralization from an overhead mounting position while supporting structured electrostatic control programs in ESD-sensitive areas.

The 5842 is available in 2-fan, 3-fan, and 4-fan configurations, with four fan-speed settings per configuration (high, med-high, med-low, low) to match ion delivery to the work area and process needs. For applications requiring the tightest balance control at the point of use, Novx Inside and Novx System versions can operate with Novx sensors to maintain precise balance (better than ±1V) by automatically adapting ion output to environmental changes.

Designed for critical environments with controlled contamination requirements, the 5842 is cleanliness rated to ISO 14644-1 Class 3 and includes sensor input, FMS connectivity, alarms, and management control features to support monitoring and rapid response to faults. Each fan includes a built-in Auto-clean System to automate emitter point cleaning and reduce maintenance time and cost.
