Simco-Ion fusION Ionizer
Simco-Ion, Technology Group’s fusION™ Local Area Ionizer is a compact, localized ionizer designed to control electrostatic charge inside process equipment and mini-environments. It is well suited for tight space constraints and low-clearance installations in industries such as semiconductor, flat panel display, pharmaceutical, and medical device manufacturing.
The fusION incorporates miniature power and control circuitry in a small package and uses Simco-Ion’s auto balancing technology, so no routine adjustments are required to maintain balance. It uses tungsten emitters and provides visual status indication with remote alarm output for system integration.
fusION operates on 24 VDC and can be powered directly from a process tool’s 24 VDC supply or by the Simco-Ion fusION power supply kit. Multiple units can be linked together from one 24 VDC power source (up to five units daisy-chained), supporting in-tool ionization coverage without adding multiple power supplies.
For applications that benefit from added airflow, an optional snap-on fan assembly clips to the fusION housing and draws power through a built-in connection.
